Our bones, muscles, joints, & skin keep our body structured and give us the ability to be mobile & move around. Every part of our body is important & has some sort of function to help us.
The best ways to keep our bodies healthy, is to eat healthy foods, exercise daily, and to never put any kind foreign substances into our bodies; such as drugs, alcohol, certain medications, etc. Healthy foods would include fruits and vegetables, things that are natural & organic, have no extra added preservatives or pesticides, or greasy & fat foods that would clog arteries and cause problems to your insides. Exercising daily would keep your body strong and your muscles tone and in shape. Not allowing your bones to get brittle and break easily. Foreign substances cause tons of harm to our bodies. Drugs and alcohol not only affect your brain, but they cause harm to other organs too such as your heart, kidneys, liver, etc. Not only is is bad on your insides, It is bad on your skin, hair, nails, etc and certain medications can cause more harm than help.
The main organs in our digestive system are the stomach, liver, esophagus, kidneys, and the intestines. Our esophagus is the part of our throat that allows us to eat and takes the food to the stomach. The stomach moves the food to our small intestine then our large intestine. The liver and kidneys filter everything out and make sure no toxins or anything bad are left behind. After being completely digested is exits our bodies.
The main organs in the respiratory system are are lungs, nose, mouth, and trachea. Our mouth & nose are what allow us to breathe in the oxygen. The air then goes down our trachea and into our lungs and to our brains through our blood system. The oxygen going in and out of our lungs is what keeps us living and allows us to survive. Our brains need oxygen for us to be able to function. It keeps our brain fresh and working right.
